In this film we get to hear some words of advice from world famous pianist Lang Lang on how to reach success as a musician. We also get to meet Alyssa who is an inspiring artist and has been brimming with passion for music since she was young.
Some films just cut themselves, and finding out on day one of the editing process that Alyssa delivered such great one takers felt like striking gold. We quickly realized that editing her performance to make it look better would be a disservice. So I just let the takes run, camera wobbles and focus errors be damned. You can probably imagine that for me, an editor with a huge passion for music, this was a fantastic film to work on.
